Previous Experience

I have many years of experience working as a Clinical Psychologist in many NHS and private clinical settings carrying out formal diagnostic assessments for children with social communication difficulties and related neurodevelopmental conditions. I have previously worked as the Neurodevelopmental Lead in a community CAMHS team and I am currently a Senior Clinical Psychologist with the Social Communication and Autism Spectrum Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Previously, I worked as a research fellow at the University of Southampton’s Developmental Brain-Behaviour Lab. I was involved in a number of projects, including a large clinical trial assessing the efficacy of different types of interventions in improving outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental conditions.

My PhD thesis focused on the design and the evaluation of a novel intervention programme for children of a preschool age who were assessed to be at risk for ADHD.
